General Comment Protein tyrosine phosphatases and protein tyrosine kinases work together to regulate tyrosine phosphorylation in their various target proteins. The PTPase epsilon is a 700-amino acid protein has a short extracellular domain and 2 tandemly repeated intracellular PTPase domains.
